The E-commerce Operations Manager Central Fulfilment Center at Carrefour Belgium is responsible for the development of the warehouse and is in charge of its operational management.

As our E-commerce Operations Manger CFC, you will have a crucial role in the logistical development of the e-commerce activities of Carrefour Belgium and therefore have a direct impact on the e-commerce results of our company and on customer satisfaction.

You oversee the daily operations of the Central Fulfilment Center in Willebroek. This semi-automated facility centralizes the preparation of all e-commerce orders done via the platform Carrefour.be.
While managing your own team (Forecast and Replenishment), you are is also responsible for the third-party logistics provider on site and for the collaboration with the E-fulfilment partner Food-X and for monitoring with the shipping company. Coordinating all activities on site in collaboration with all parties, the E-commerce Operations Manager is responsible for championing an industry leading customer experience, while minimizing operational costs, creating an engaging work culture and developing a roadmap for ongoing optimization.

You will have different responsabilites:

 

Strategic:

  • Strategy development of the partnership with the e-fulfilment partner in order to increase capacity, improve customer experience through full order rate and large assortment and gain profitability by efficiency and productivity.
  • You are on site together with the Food-X responsible to do that, by implementing new systems, infrastructure and processes, phase out of the current provider, people management on site, investment projects
  • Strategic partnership with the Carrefour Group as you will share knowledge and best practices, and with Food-X to ensure that the warehouse is operating at an operational excellence level as soon as possible and is ready for the future

 

Operational:

  • Operational activity: you will be responsible for all operational activity on site, act as tenant for the facility, ensure all rules and regulations, complies with safety policies, accident prevention procedures, manage  the Standard Operating Procedures. You will be responsible for Forecast and Replenishment, stock management.
  • You will participate in the assortment management as determined by our' Marchandise' department

 

Management and reporting: 

  • you will report on the SLAs and KPIs described in the contract and will intervene when needed and will create a constructive and productive environment for both workers and leaders

 

Finance: 

  • you will have PNL responsibility of Carrefour Drive 2 SA/NV, our economic entity exploiting the CFC
  • perform monthly business reviews on results, budgets and action plans and ensures necessary action
  • be responsible for the financial follow-up of the open-book agreement with the third-party logistics provider
  • following governance as described in the contract
  • You will put in place optimization to decrease operational costs

 

People Management:

  • implement HR policies, ensure team management including communication, motivate and lead people in order to let them perform and grow, build and direct a cohesive team of internal and external people to effectively develop E-Commerce fulfilment

 

Client and Relationship management:

  • you will build and maintain a collaborative network with different cross-functional partners (internal and
  • external), work with the wider digital and E-commerce team to contribute to a cohesive evolution of the E-commerce
  • fulfilment and contributes to omni-channel activities, perform stakeholder management and acts as a liaison and primary point of contact within the company for the CFC of Willebroek. 
  • you represent the CFC and its interests in cross-functional initiatives and discussions

 

 

Studies & experience:

  • Master or relevant experience
  • E-commerce operations experience
  • Tool SI log (wms, wcs, oms...)
  • Management experience (3PL is a plus)
  • Good trilingual (French, Dutch, English)
