Carrefour Belgium is looking forward to hiring an IT Business Analyst with relevant experience in and knowledge of Order to Cash processes.

 

Our new colleague will act as a specialist in one functional area and/or set of processes and will be responsible for system enhancements as well.  As a member of a project team, an IT Business Analyst at Carrefour is frequently challenged to provide solutions of medium complexity.

 

Tasks, Challenges and Responsibilities

 

Requirements Gathering and Analysis

  • Gather functional and non-functional business requirements related to Order to Cash Processes across the organization covering sales orders, contracts, pricing, billing, credit, shipping and delivery processing for different businesses and channels.
  • Identify & propose business improvements.
  • Gather system and reporting specifications.
  • Perform the technical analysis of these requirements over the different technical components.
  • Gap analysis.
  • Transform the analysis into written detailed specifications, including technical specifications that will be the basis for a ‘first time right’ implementation.
  • Assist in writing test cases.
  • Ensure correct and complete documentation of requests and analysis.
  • Federate the organization around the choices made.
  • Ensure business support for the choices made.
  • Is aware that ‘retail is detail’.

 

Project Tasks

  • Collaborate closely with the Project Team.  (Project Manager(s), Architects, Business Analysts, … .)
  • Ensure timely delivery of products (data, documents, test data, test cases, …) required for successful project delivery, in budget, on time.
  • Challenge the estimations (time and budget) handed in by the implementation partners.
  • Project planning and execution: participate in the project management process, including participation in project meetings.  Take care of meeting minutes, action items, user requirements, or deliverables from project meetings.
  • Perform a variety of project related activities, including analysis or preparation of documentation and presentations.
  • Accomplish all work using established methodologies and standards.

 

System Support

  • Ensure and improve the stability of the applications, leading and following up relevant actions towards stability improvements, including regular interactions with the technical teams (infrastructure, architecture, security, ...), problem management follow up, root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate closely with the support teams.
  • Business User/Owner Application Support: Provide the basic analysis enabling 2nd and 3rd tier application support for assigned applications.
  • Assist in resolving technical and functional issues according to defined prioritization / severity scheme.
  • Some flexibility in working hours during implementations is required.

On all subjects above, collaborates with internal and external partners.

 

Your Profile

 

  • Our new colleague holds a bachelor's degree in the field of Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience.
  • You have a SAP MM/SD application experience or hold certifications.
  • Experience in integration points between Materials Management, Logistics and Finance is a plus.
  • IS-Retail experience, at least 1 SAP implementation experience from system design to post go live support.
  • SAP ABAP coding experience or the ability to read and understand custom ABAP code is plus.
  • You are goal oriented, set high personal standards of performance, seek out new challenges and initiate activities.
  • As a team player, you involve others, share knowledge and seek opportunities for cross functional working and collaboration.
  • You understand potential impacts on cross functional processes.
  • You’re fluent in English, spoken and written, as well as in Dutch or in French.
  • You have affinity with retail distribution, experience in this domain would be obviously a plus.
  • You combine an analytical mind with strong communication and leadership skills.
  • You are eager to learn and you have an appetite for innovative technologies and changing trends in the retail market.
