Carrefour Belgium is looking forward to hiring an IT Helpdesk Agent (2nd Line), to help a wide audience of end users with their questions related to Google mail, Google hangouts, teleconferencing, business applications such as SAP, cloud and other software or hardware platforms.

Key Tasks and responsibilities for this position are the following ones:

  • Solve the technical IT related problems of our Carrefour end users who are working in our headquarters and in the stores.
  • Take the lead in figuring out the root cause of the problems that are escalated by the 1st line helpdesk colleagues (or end users), determine and execute next steps to come to a solution.
  • Translate your technical expertise into understandable language and advice for our end users.


Other tasks and responsibilities related to this role include:

  • Ensuring that the technical problems are solved in a timely manner and / or that a suitable workaround of the problem is provided.
  • Close collaboration with colleagues of Carrefour and with external parties / service providers to come at a quick solution.
  • Technical support for our 1st line helpdesk agents.
  • Provide timely, comprehensive and informative feedback for your internal customers and our 1st and 3rd line IT helpdesk agents.


Your Profile

  • A highschool degree, preferably with additional training / courses in the field of computer science.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an IT Support Agent.
  • Analytical mindset and solution oriented.
  • Affinity with helping out (internal) customers.
  • You have a passion for IT, as well as excellent communication skills.
  • You are stress resistant and can flexibly anticipate peak times
  • Fluency in Dutch and French and English will be an advantage.
