Carrefour Belgium is looking forward to hiring an Information Security Manager to lead and manage the company's information asset strategy, operations and budget.
The scope of responsibility includes communications, applications and infrastructure (including applicable policies and procedures).

 


Tasks and Responsibilities

 


As for strategy:

 

  • Ensures a cyber security strategy and constantly updates it to leverage new technology and threat information.
  • Briefs management on status and risks, has the role of champion for the overall strategy and necessary budget.
  • Develops goals and strategies to ensure the security team runs smoothly and effectively.
  • Develops an adequate security organisation.
  • Works closely with the Carrefour group to ensure global alignment.

 


As for operations and organisation:

 

  • Directs and approves the design of security systems.
  • Ensures that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested.
  • Reviews and approves security policies, controls and cyber incident response planning.
  • Approves identity and access policies.
  • Reviews investigations after breaches or incidents, including impact analysis and recommendations for avoiding similar vulnerabilities.
  • Keep an eye on the overall IT threat landscape.
  • Ensures compliance with the changing laws and applicable regulations.
  • Translates that knowledge to identification of risks and actionable plans to protect the business.
  • Schedules periodic security audits.
  • Oversees identity and access management.
  • Make sure that cyber security policies and procedures are communicated to all personnel and are implemented and that compliance is enforced.
  • Communicates best practices and risks to all parts of the business, outside IT.
  • Directs and establishes IT security projects.

 

As for people:

 

  • Manages all teams, employees, contractors and vendors involved in IT security.
  • Leads, motivates and develops employees in accordance with the Carrefour leadership model and guarantees their level of knowledge and expertise.
  • Develops the team's expertise, professionalism and customer orientation.
  • Realises the HR cycle.
  • Optimises internal operations.
  • Ensures internal communication.
  • Is an active ambassador for Carrefour and encourages team members to do so.


As for finance and governance:

 

  • Ensures program and project management of all IT security projects.
  • Provides business cases to substantiate and argue budget requests.
  • Approves purchases of technological equipment and software and establishes partnerships with IT providers in the domain of information security.
  • Analyzes the costs, value and risks of information technology to advise management and suggest actions.

 


Your Profile:

  • You hold a relevant master’s degree and you have relevant experience in a previous similar position.
  • In-depth knowledge of information security, with relevant certifications.
  • You are collaborative, customer and people driven, and able to encourage diversity.
  • You are result oriented and skilled in project management and organisation.
  • You have managerial courage and swift communication skills.
  • You have an analytical mindset and are able to simplify complex matters.
  • English, French and Dutch are important for language skills.
