Data management is key for Carrefour Belgium, to support our Loyalty program and strategy.  The relationship with our customers holds three major pillars:

As of today, we are looking forward to hiring an IT Team Manager to lead the CRM & Loyalty team, which is a part of the IT Data, CRM & Loyalty Platforms department.
Our ideal candidate has relevant experience in Customer Relationship Management. Previous experience in the areas of Retail or B2C is a huge advantage.

 

As an IT Team Manager, you ensure and coordinate the liaison between IT and the customer engagement department, as well as:

  • Management of your team of business analysts and developers.
  • Functional Management of IT Customer Data Platforms (CRM, GDPR, …).
  • Close collaboration with the project managers, to allocate needed resources to support the several projects in terms of capacities and the prioritization of the activities.
  • Budget management of the team.
  • Raise awareness of your team, as experts in terms of CRM & Loyalty platforms.
  • Close collaboration with the IT Data Team Managers, and report to the IT Data, CRM & Loyalty Director.

 

General / Other Tasks, Activities and Responsibilities

 

  • Assist the project managers in resource planning, budget and allocation.
  • Lead team meetings to prioritize activities.
  • Planning, budget planning, results analysis and quality monitoring in close collaboration with the project managers and business partners.
  • Participate in steering committees.

 

Your Profile

 

  • You hold a relevant degree in economics or science, with the option of IT.
  • You have experience in (IT) team management.
  • Understanding of best practices, trends and technologies, in the areas of CRM, Loyalty Programs, Data, Big Data and Reporting.
  • Experience in GDPR regulations is a plus.
  • You have an eye for detail.  (Retail = detail.)
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and you’re able to prioritize.
  • You are customer oriented, with excellent communication skills, capable to defend your ideas, but open to listen to others as well.
  • You’re fluent in Dutch and English or in French and English.
  • You’re flexible to deal with (occasional) incidents outside of office hours.
  • You’re eager to learn and you have a huge appetite for innovative technologies and changing trends in the market.
  • You have a positive and accountable mindset.
  • You value the true meaning of team objectives.
