Mission 

The retail industry is changing rapidly and therefore also the IT landscape at Carrefour Belgium. Topics like mobile solutions, digital & e-commerce, real time data integration, big data, digital marketing, smart scan, hybrid sales devices, mobile payments, IT security... have our greatest attention these days. In order to support our current and future challenges, we are looking forward to hiring an IT License Officer with relevant knowledge of and experience in IT License and Asset management. The mission of the IT License Officer is to be a Center of Excellence, maintaining and challenging the IT related license and assets portfolio accordingly.


Responsibilities

  • Review and maintain data from various sources to develop an analysis of License and asset  portfolio .

  • Manage, improve or build processes by working with other departments and teams.
  • Perform underwriting on licenses and  assets to determine targets and renewals.
  • Ensure data accuracy across the license and asset portfolio and the related database.
  • Manage the license and asset database towards business in terms of scope, planning, cost and quality and ensures compliance within the asset and license portfolio.
  • Manage interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders or suppliers to ensure the licenses are  delivered on time, within budget and within scope. 
  • Prepares required reports and presentations (status reports, renewals, consumption reports, contract status,…) as defined by the license and asset management processes.
  • Keeps renovation timelines among other key data points.
  • Escalate License issues and risks appropriately, and drive them to resolution in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate across teams.

 

Profile

  • You are good at organizing and managing multiple priorities and/or products (licenses or assets) by using appropriate methodologies and tools.
  • You introduce new ideas and processes which improve performance and productivity.

  • You are a problem solver with the ability to encourage others in collaborative problem solving. 
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven researching ability.
  • IT Asset Management and Discovery Tools experience.
  • Experience interpreting licensing terms and conditions.
