Mission
- Working with other IT Developer(s) and/or Project Manager(s) throughout the software development life cycle.
- Working with either following Waterfall or Agile frameworks and will mostly use popular coding languages (e.g. JavaScript).Â
- Being part of the IT Transversal services department and have strong ties with the IT Technology & Operations team.
Responsibilities

Analyze users’ needs and then design, test, and develop software to meet those needs.
- Recommend software upgrades for customers’ existing programs and systems.
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
- Collaborate with other computer specialists to create optimum software.
- Design each piece of an application or system and plan how the pieces will work together.
- Create a variety of models and diagrams (such as flowcharts) that show the software code needed for an application
- Work with other developers to design algorithms and flowcharts.
- Integrate software components and third-party programs.
- Verify and deploy programs and systems.
- Document every aspect of an application or system as a reference for future maintenance and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
- Testing and deploying programs and systems.
- Fixing and improving existing software.
- Ensure that a program continues to function normally through software maintenance and testing.
- Gather and evaluate user feedback.
- Recommend and execute improvements.
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
Profile
- BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role.
- knowledge of low-code technologies (e.g. OutSystems) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
- Knowledge of coding languages (e.g. C++, Java, JavaScript) and frameworks/systems (e.g. AngularJS, Git).
- Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks (e.g. Hibernate).
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Resourcefulness and troubleshooting aptitude.
- Attention to details.
