As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a central role in this mission by analyzing data, developing predictive models, and delivering actionable insights to inform decisions across various departments such as marketing, e-commerce, product management, customer excellence, store operations, supply chain, and procurement.

Your Key Responsibilities:*

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will have a significant impact by:

1) Data Analysis and Modeling:

   - Utilizing advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze large datasets.

   - Identifying trends, patterns, and insights to support data-driven decision-making.

   - Designing and deploying machine learning models, including generative models, to solve business challenges.

   - Continuously optimizing and fine-tuning models to improve their performance.

2) MLOps Best Practices:

   - Following Carrefour's MLOps best practices throughout the machine learning lifecycle, including model versioning, continuous integration, and automated model deployment.

   - Monitoring model performance and implementing model retraining and maintenance procedures.

3) Collaboration:

   - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data platforms, data insights, and business partners, to understand their requirements and deliver solutions.

   - Communicating findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

4) Innovation:

   - Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in data science, machine learning, and generative AI.

   - Exploring new techniques and technologies, especially in generative AI, to enhance the company's data capabilities.

Profiel

The Profile We're Seeking:

   - You hold a master's degree in a scientific or business-oriented field (Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related domain).

   - You have proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a minimum of 4 years of experience.

   - You have solid experience applying advanced statistics to various business scenarios, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.

   - You are fluent in Python and SQL programming.

   - You have the ability to work independently and lead projects from concept to completion.

   - Strong collaboration skills; you are comfortable working with both technical and non-technical individuals.

   - Experience with Google Cloud Platform or in the Retail sector is a plus.

   - Fluent in English and proficient in French or Dutch.
